OK - this is the next to last one in the book, two more follow below (all I could stay awake for last night. One more complex one to go after this... I hope to post it tomorrow)
The roof above is supposed to be quite dark with just the faces of the slats being lit from below. Is it too repetitive? (Boring??) I hope to have a bit of interesting wood-grain showing - is that enough?

more from g- If that is the underside of the rafter they are sitting on that I am seeing, I think it should be getting smaller to the right as it recedes

I don't think it's boring esp with the dramatic lighting that you will have. Be careful that the dove on left doesn't get to raggedy. The feathers can be defined but the outline still needs to be smooth--or else he is sick or in the middle of ruffling his feathers. Suzy
