Down the home stretch...

My pieces are all taped up, with graphite value hatching, and underlying washes down (I now can't change the faces any more, even if I want to). I have an accordian folded value and color comp across the back of my desk. I have my little palette-for-this-piece chart along side my paints. It is nothing but paint-paint-paint from here on out. I'm listening to a fairly disturbing apocolyptic-future Margaret Atwood novel on tape. I made a big batch of organic, wheat-free brownies for rewards as I go... Onward and upward... If I'm lucky, I'll even get to sleep a little this week. Maybe not.

Paint how fun and with chocolate brownies yummy. If you have time I look forward to seeing the results.

I can't post the pieces until the book gets published (sometime in September). Which is a bummer. I've painted all of these pieces - none of which can be added to my webpage or online portfolio pages for months...
