Source of Quotes for the Day:
I got a sample copy of "Cloth, Paper, Scissors" in the mail today. It is put out by the same group who does "Quilting Arts" - which is an amazing magazine. I'm refusing to even think about textiles right now, so I'm not even going to examine it closely, however they did have a page of contributed art quotes. A few of which I will include.
"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep."
Scott Adams
"To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it."
Kurt Vonnegut
"He who works with his hands is a laborer.
He who works with his hands and his heart is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands, his head and his heart is an artist."
St. Francis of Assisi

Some lovely thought provoking quotes there - especially the one by St. Francis of Assisi, which sums things up quite nicely ... ;)
Here, here! Those are fantastic!
