Countdown - 3 days...

"...And the first tree in the green wood, it was the holly..."

--The Holly and the Ivy, traditional carol

Another Celtic tree. There are 20 of them in the Celtic tree alphabet, I seem to do one every year or so - at this rate, I'll have done them all by 2020!

In other work-related news, I think I have finally gotten back in the groove after many distractions - holiday, weather or otherwise. I'm nearly caught up to where I hoped to be at the end of this week. Yay! I may be able to actually *enjoy* Christmas this year!

I love your Celtic tree paintings. This one reminds me of the green man :-) The Celtic Tree alphabet is fascinating. And so is the Ogham in general. Would you happen to have an oracle deck based on the tree alphabet? I've had mine for about 16 years. I take that you have Irish roots? Your beautiful name is sort of a give away :-) Tara Hill is one of my favorite places in Ireland. Bright blessings to you.

I like the whole countdown concept now that I'm just about done with my Christmas duties. Prior to that it felt more like a countdown to something sinister. Well, Christmas can feel that way . . . for me. I like the Celtic trees and the classic frames are incorporated nicely.

Fantastic, I love this! What have you 'done' with these amazing tree pictures, or are they just for you? Really superb.

I've just got around to looking at your site (been busy!) and I LOVE the holly man. I did draw "the Holly and the Ivy" for a card, but never got around to cutting it. Next year?
By the way, my blogging cat did that meme too!
Happier weather to you!
