Countdown - 5 days...

Here's hoping you and yours are nestled all snug in your beds... [It's supposed to rain and blow again this evening - thankfully not as strongly as last week - but they're afraid the power may go out again...]

And thank you for all of your kind words about my paintings this week. It is very reassuring and appreciated. (One begins to lose objectivity when stuck in one's garret. Feedback is invaluable!)

Makes me feel like Christmas, looking at the beautifully wintry scene, cup of tea in hand and feet up (had to walk so many miles this afternoon).
Wonder if I should try and put the presents unwrapped under the tree ... ;-)

I have seen the devastation those winds last week left at Stanley Park in Vancouver/Canada! YIKES!
Weather here continues to be warm with no snow. Garden visitors loving it!

I'm so loving your pictures for the countdown.... I feel more in the mood this year than I have in the longest time... it is only because of the artwork like yours that I feel a special something in the air.
Merry Christmas to you and to yours!
