Nightmares....

Designing yet another 'creature' for the Big Job... This sketch ended up a bit too scary for this usage (my daughter said that she was 'too creepy' and 'nightmare inducing'...). I actually rather liked it, but I can see her point. I think I'll have to find some other use for this 'creature' at some point.

Oh really scary, that's the sort of scary lady I thought would come out of the walk-in cupboard in my bedroom when I was a child and I would only have Teddy Robinson to protect me.

Hey I was not aware you were into portraits...and its amazing that just by reading only few lines from me you could get my features so perfect...!!

How amazing...but u know please add some more hair....I have shag bangs and quite fashionable.

I like the monkey hands. The bulbous fingertips are similar to some primates’ fingers I've seen. I like the black dog lips too. Wait . . . that could be bright red lipstick -- an attempt at makeup -- even more disturbing.

Thanks again for the well wish. I spent today happily painting. Very happily. The simple pleasures are back.

There are a couple of Rorschach images hidden in your looser lines. I thought I saw some things that clearly aren't really there in the full version. At some point I'll let you know what they are but only when I've stolen them from your subconscious.

Hi,
She certainly is scarey! I really like the loosness of the lines in your drawing.

I love the creatures hands !! Gwenny's teacher asked her last year if she was able to draw anything that didn't look scarry !! She had to draw to of her classmates in art lesson, the look in their eyes, and their mouths looked like they were out of a horror film ... lol
