More fairies...

Found an article on the impending release of the Fairy Chronicles series in Publisher's Weekly.

You can read it
here.

Also, Terri Windling (of Endicott fame) is selling her Dartmoor cottage. Would that the fairies made me enough money to take her up on it!

- House-trained Goblins Seek Room-mate

Want to own a 16th century fairy tale cottage in England, complete with goblins on the kitchen walls painted by Brian Froud, Alan Lee, Charles Vess and other artists? Here's an extremely rare opportunity to do so. The cottage is located in the middle of a small, bucolic country village at the edge of Dartmoor...perfect for a writer, painter, or dreamer seeking inspiration in the countryside. More information is available on Phillip Fowler's website.

*sigh* How would THAT be?.. Do click on the link for more amazing pictures...

Ohohohohhh... *much droolage*

Wouldn't that be loverly.

Some day I am going to have to own a house (as opposed to just renting one) so I can take a shot at mural-painting a room. Just the thought of that is very appealing, even if I hardly know which end is up with paint.

I have read through all that's been written up about the fairy books you are illustrating, and it is a wonderful story, all in all!
I wish you huge success, as I am sure will come. I would have loved as a child to read those books.
The fairy tale cottage, well, so far I resist even looking at the website, and simply enjoy the picture with the goblins.
How many more days to Italy?

When are you moving (the cottage is so you)? And will Loreena McKennitt be playing in the background? I just heard an interview with her on CBC radio and thought of you. She talked about how her travels have influenced her music and played/sang a beautiful song live.

A 60-book series! Wow! I'm presently at the point that when I finish the next thing I've got no assignments. This may be good and it may not be. Right now I believe it is -- a few weeks from now . . .

Someone linked me to the cottage sale a few months ago so it's been on the market for awhile. A quaint village is where I should be. A place with a slow pace and mild climate. It's a little like that here but it could be slower and milder.
