Sunday Sketching...

I try not to work on Sundays - 'day of rest', and a time to rejuvenate so that I can plow on the rest of the week...

However, sometimes I just have to sketch in church.

If I am sleepy or needing my hands to stay busy, I'll pull out my teeny-tiny sketchbook and try to balance it on my knee whilst looking at the backs of all those heads...

It *is* a way to quickly study things like hair or ears or the way suit collars lay... But not really 'work'. :-)

And now back to the grind and 'real' drawing again tomorrow...

That brought it all back for me: all the hours I've ever spent in church looking at the back of people's heads! I'm glad you could use the time to sketch. I would settle for heavy doodling in the borders of the program!

What a brilliant idea. You have someone sitting there for a fairly long period of time to sketch ! ~ love Julia x

Obviously you are an insatiable sketcher.

I would have been even more impressed if you had done the sketches with a dipping pen:¬)
