Event of the Week -

(Click picture to see larger, more legible image)

Somehow (it seemed a good idea at the time) I thought it would be fun to do this event. I was supposed to have a bit more time now to work on things like this - but NO!

Luckily it is just a 3 minute presentation - albeit in very prestigious company, and to a large room full of children's book professionals.... I'll have the dubious distinction of having written my presentation while waiting and watching my daughter in a bone scan machine (checking to see if she has a stress fracture in her spine. Most likely not serious, but if it's not one thing....)

Think good thoughts my direction for Thursday night!

Even being almost a day ahead, I'd still be late!

I am late, but at least I know that the evening went over well, as I knew it would.
As far as your daughter is concerned, I wish you all good news. My youngest suffered a fracture of a metacarpal bone of her left hand in September. It healed well and never was as scary as your daughter's accident. I hope everything's going to be fine.
