Studio countdown -

(I have a row of crystals hanging from my blinds in the studio-)

(On sunny afternoons they spread rainbow-hued spots of light across the room)

The most interesting thing going on here is the marking off of pieces of artwork on my list as they are completed. WAY slower than I wish. On the plus scale however, two covers were completed and Fedexed away at the end of last weekend -

Three more covers have been transferred onto watercolor paper. Am currently cleaning up the drawings. Hope to be finished with that tonight, and if I'm very lucky, color and value comps for all three as well so that painting can commence!

After these covers are done, then I begin to tackle all the (many!) miscellaneous interiors in the few remaining weeks... So, alas, I must continue to neglect blogs, gardens and cooking dinners for a bit longer....

I will check in if and when I can. 'Miss 'seeing' you!

I'll have to settle for spots of rainbows instead.
