Life Drawing -

*THANKFULLY* Life Drawing this week was much more serene than *last time*...

Lovely, lyrical model - made for fun gestures and warm up sketches...

Sadly, this is the only session at Arts Umbrella this month (our normal week happens to be the day after Thanksgiving :-(....)
But I'm happy for what I can get.

Good for you for not letting the last session get in the way of the new one. Sometimes things get linked and you can lose your taste for doing something in the future because something unsettling happened in the past.

By the way, I'm once again reminded, and envious, that I can't draw a lick and never could.

Tara, I love these, especially the last. The shadows and texture is wonderful! The covers for the books are great too!

Really nice ! I am envious of the opurtunity to have human models....I bought some pomegranites because I thought they'd be nice to draw LOL....but there is always the rabbits.

These are lovely.

Her neck, feet and ankles are particularly well done -not as easy as it looks.

Regarding the bottom one: The tilt of her head makes the drawing I think. It's as if she just turned her eye gently toward you as you entered the room.
