Tonight, I attended an opening for fellow
POBL member,
Michelle Waldele-Dick's first solo art show! (You can follow along on her painting ventures on her
blog here).

A number of other
POBL members were able to attend. Much lively art discussion abounded.

There were many lovely pieces, but this one is of the road in front of the cabin where we spend
our annual fall retreats. Loved it, and have made it mine...

(Here's the
POBLites who were able to attend this happy occasion).

Followed by a most delicious dinner at the Thai restaurant next door. What a terrific evening. Big congratulations Michelle.

Golly, what a social whirl - you are a sociable animal aren't you? I'm not surprised you bought that painting, it has utterly gorgeous light and makes me want to walk into it and down the path...maybe I would find you all painting away in front of the cabin...sigh...
dinner looks great :)
gorgeous painting to have. lovely lighting
Wonderful paintings. I love your choice. I would have picked that too.
Gorgeous painting! If I were you, I would have wanted it too. Love the play of light. How nice of all of you to support her!
You made an excellent choice. It looks like the road to Manderley.
