
A sampling of this past Friday's life drawing sketches. It'd been about three weeks since I'd put drawing implement to paper. Felt rusty.

But at least some of the fateful workshop of last month seems to have made a bit of an impact - this quickie portrait took about 20 minutes (a thing which I could not have even imagined a month ago.
Yay for new techniques!)

I really like this. I wish I could do this even when I'm not feeling rusty which is most of the time :-) Love it, I'll just keep practicing.
