Music Monday - Beyond the Sea (Retreat, Part II)

I spent the bulk of the retreat looking at, or walking along the water (an inlet of Puget Sound), so I am accompanying today's water-themed photos with this magically atmospheric version of "Beyond the Sea", sung by Celtic Woman:

This was our view of the Sound from our deck (tide going out)....

Entry to the beach (low tide) -

The neighboring cove (tide coming in...)

One of our many low-tide strolls along the rocky shore....

Exposed oyster bed (low low tide). Makes me start reciting 'The Walrus and the Carpenter"...

A sighting of the Olympics in the distance (tide coming back in) -

...and beautiful sunsets....

...every night....

...beyond the sea....

OMG, so incredibly beautiful! No wonder why coming back to real life was such a challenge. I wouldn't want to leave with pictures like those.

Very beautiful scenery! I just love the photos from your retreat. They love so inviting and refreshing. I watched on PBS that concert for the Celtic Women. It was quite a treat. They each have such beautiful voices. And the one who plays fiddle and dances at the same time, wouldn't I like her energy!

Ah Tara, Now a place like that is perfect for restoring the senses. So nice you got a major project tackled before you went. I'm sure you are full of new creative inspiration. :)
