WIP Wednesday - multiples...

Working on multiple projects... In addition to my page-a-day figure studies,

I'm inching away on Greensleeves - value and color studies at this point....

...and a re-paint of my Oz piece from last year (which I was never satisfied with how it turned out).  Am trying a more limited, steam-punky palette this time around.. Hoping to finish it up in time to enter in into a big ol' Alumni show next week...

Working away!

I've always thought your steampunky witch was awesome. Glad to see her make another appearance!

Tara, I simply love your style. Both are looking wonderful and I appreciate you sharing your process. Good luck on finishing in time.

I like that witch, wish I knew what steampunk was, my hubby tried to explain, but I'm not quite getting it :).

Tatiana: it's best described as Victorian-era science fiction a la Jules Verne. All sorts of wondrous technological inventions powered by 19th-century methods: steam, clockwork, etc.

It's also become a clothing style based around the same concepts: styled after Victorian lines, with details like brooches and rings and necklaces made from watch innards and other mechanical bits.
