Yeah, I have an odd compelled/repulsed relationship with Cocorosie. Some I can hardly bear, some I can hardly get enough. :)
never heard of them before. incredibly powerful - what I've not yet figured out is if I want to hear them again! interesting stuff.
sigh. ok, I'm hooked. one phrase turned into an earworm late afternoon and next thing you know, I was on youtube, scouting.
Sorry(?) Hayden. I so know the feeling. I think they only become compulsive to me in combination with the lush, gothic visuals. I do not respond the same way at all to the live performances, or the more spare videos. But the combination totally gets me.
Well... not my thing, so much. I like the gothic elements as well though.
