Tonight I'm getting to design a map for a fantasy series of books. First in black and white for the books themselves, and then there are discussions about a large, colored version for... other applications.
Happy project. I love maps. :-)

Kim - I think the same thing (tedious!) about the colored pencil stuff you do. :-) This, for me, is therapeutic.
Thanks Stew - maps are great fun. Especially ones for made up places - I love the virtual traveling. (Your work is beautiful btw)
When I was younger I used to love drawing maps of countries that never existed. Now I think it'd be fun to make a map of a city that doesn't exist, complete with little nooks and crannies, favorite stores marked, and marked spots where treasures (or bodies) are buried. Yar!
