Succulent Saturday - Florida Trip

I spent the bulk of this past week in Florida. My daughter is doing the Disney-College program and I traveled down with her to help get her settled. I stayed with a friend, who showed me some of the environs outside of the parks. One of my favorite indigenous things were the awesomely impressive live oaks, draped with Spanish moss -
This specimen was particularly imposing -

The placard states it dates from 1688!

Look at the size of that trunk!

It's towering boughs are dripping with celadon.

The branches grow so long that they dip down to the ground and then head back up again -

We stayed out amongst the trees and the water until the sun went down....

We did many more things... more updates anon!
