Music Monday - Dual of the Fates

As I've posted, I spent the weekend with the amazing artists Brom and Iain McCaig (best known for designing Darth Maul and Princess Amadala for the most recent Star Wars. Thus I thought it appropriate to listen to the best piece from the first movie's score:

Here is his Darth Maul design - and the Darth Maul Pez dispensers we got this weekend as 'favors'. :-)

Music Monday - and the Star Wars exhibit..

Today we ventured into Seattle to see the Star Wars exhibit, amongst other things at the science center.

To commemorate, I give you my all-time favorite musical snippet from the first Star Wars movie-

(And while there was very little that I liked about the latest three (other than the eye-popping visuals),  the music was worthy....)

Seattle Center in the ephemeral PNW sunshine....

Area-appropriate sculptures in the surrounding pools...

More sculpture-of-whale -
and more exhibit pics for you tomorrow!

Deep breath -

Election's over. I'm ready to think of not such heavy, heady things for awhile.

My brother showed me this lovely, light and frivolous ditty - a perfect musical mix of a capella genre soundtracks by John Williams and fan-boy verbiage. Quite impressive really.

Enjoy. And breathe.
