On Theoretical Sockology...

A number of years ago I did an illustration of "The Sockmonster". I have whole theories on how it is that my socks disappear (one of each pair. Favorites always.)

I'm not the only one who thinks about these things, apparently. Found a trackback on my website from Spiral Sheep. Which references - me, actually. :-) I like his theories as well!

Good working day. Am mostly done with these two covers. Had them looked at tonight at critique meeting. Have a few more details and finalizing of the backgrounds to finish - and then off to the scanner guy! As long as I make it there before 5pm closing tomorrow, I should be fine. Our meeting was fun - one of our member's birthday is tomorrow, so we had chocolate cheesecake to celebrate. We also exchanged artist-Christmas cards. Jo won the award for most-work-done-this-month. (Check out her website). We're going to have to get a traveling button or trophy of some kind to commemorate this kind of effort. Very inspiring.

Going to go crawl into bed now - it's getting cold downstairs. We're supposed to be having a season's low temp tonight (low 20's I think) - which I know does not compare with other environs out there - but for us warm-blooded Seattle-ites, we are not acclimated!

Some day he will hopefully have an armful of fellow illustrations depicting his adventures...
