Flowers - mid-June...
It's mid-June and my roses are all blooming. They are various variations of pink, and highly fragrant. I try to keep a bouquet of cut blooms on my kitchen table and let them perfume the air. They are heavenly flowers.
Columbine, foxglove, rhodys, yarrow, lavender, azalea, feverfew, violas, love-in-a-mist and still some residual bleeding hearts color all parts of the yard.
Oh - and the poppies! The first ones to bloom are over four feet high now - large enough that they blow over when the wind picks up. They are beautiful.
I just got job proposal that I have to really crank on for the next couple of weeks. Posting will be sporadic at best. Enjoy the sunshine!

Oh, the pink rose takes my breath away. I love the tilt of your poppies, it is as if they are listening to something... Good luck working on the job proposal!
Hello Tara,
Thankyou for the comments on my blog. Your flowers look wonderful-I love this time of year and poppies are my favourite flowers (along with sunflowers)!
I'll be back,

The flowers are so pretty, good luck with the job proposal, hope you get a chance to enjoy the sun too
