Quote for the day:

"The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives."

-Albert Einstein, physicist,
Nobel laureate (1879-1955)

So then, does it make total sense that I continue to want to be a children's illustrator? :-)

Wow, that's very applicable to you!

The best children's work is done by those who are still children at heart. Who not only remember what it was like to be a child, but who still experience the wonder in everyday things, like the shapes of clouds or the funny behavior of a crow. Luckiest of all are those who have resisted the boring world of adults, those who still believe that fairies and dragons and magic exist!

Hence my current job, would you not say, Rebecca? ;-)
