A pet post -

in honor of Ash... A lovely, young chocolate lab with a very droll sense of humor.

This is Jack. My son's black lab-rottweiler mix. He is sweet, serene and loving. Although he tends to love other dogs even more than his people. Which can make for adventful walks - he weighs over 100 pounds and can get a bit excited at the prospect of another dog's hind end to sniff...

Mia is my daughter's critter. She is *such* a cat - opinionated, strong-willed, independent, and has just enough Siamese blood to make her very talkative, in a very whiny sort of way.

She also must sit and/or sleep in every box (or bag or suitcase, etc...) that enters the house.

They are warm, strong presences in our home and add alot to our lives and family. We are happy to have them...

Pleased to meet them. Where would we be without our canine and feline companions?

Great photos. Your daughter’s cat has the same habit as my sisters, Temo will insist on sitting on any bag or piece of paper how ever small.

What beautiful animals - I know what you mean about the problem of large dogs wanting to sniff the bottoms of other large dogs ...
