Twilight....

Saw this lovely view at twilight as I was spray-fixing some work outside (it is SO stinky! But nothing seems to work as well as Krylon). The sky was various delicate shades of violet and peach, sliding into ultramarine and indigo while the moon grew brighter and whiter and finally dropped behind the trees...

In terms of work, a chat with a friend of mine is worth quoting in part here: "I love deadlines. They make such a lovely sound as they go swishing by..."

Er, yes indeed, they do....

I looked at your photo and now I know how to finish my painting! Thanks, T.

That is a true magical twilight photograph, the moon just adds the finishing touch. It looks like a stage where mysterious things are about to happen.

Penny - thanks! Wish the photo could approximate what was *actually* going on out there!

Andrea - let me know when you're finished. Looking forward to seeing.

Daisy - It did feel rather magical. I love the moon - and it's always exciting when we can see it here. Once the rain starts, we have nearly 8 months of overcast, moonless skies...

I saw the most amazing moon the other night too! I tried to take a photo but it just did NOT show up..guess I'll have to get a lesson on night photography..such a shame because it was
an amazing sight! Your photo is gorgeous with the lavender blue!!Great capture! Another one of nature's delights!

Posting it soon. I decided to use a different colour scheme, it didn't work, so I repainted it more like this this morning. Must remember to go with my initial gut instinct...

I don't know about deadlines but I can definetely hear the wind swishing through the trees in your photo, just by looking at it!
