On Gratitude

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity.... It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow."

--Melodie Beattie

I just want to say *thank you* to all you fabulously wonderful, encouraging, complimentary, positive, (commenting!) blog readers. While my current working schedule keeps me feeling somewhat isolated, this new-found international community of caring, insightful souls helps me feel connected to the human race. Thank you. I am glad for and appreciate you all. Thank you for caring enough to visit and for leaving a note when you do. Garrets are overrated. :-)

Thankyou too, you have carried on leaving comments when I have fallen back into being very bad leaving comments. Comments are so nice when you are mostly working alone, its a lovely little bloggy community. I will be trying much harder. Thankyou

Those are forget-me-nots aren't they? Darling chipmonk:) There is one living in my backyard, but they are so shy I don't see him/her too often...come to think of it, there could be lots of them...how would I know?

Love the cheeky chipmunk with the acorns, I have just been gathering up acorns as I walked down the road today. I just love to have a bowl of them on a table at this time of year.

I am new to your blog. But, so glad that I stumbled upon it. Your artwork is just so lovely and truly an inspiration to a "wanna be" artist.

Lovely quote as well.

Thanks.

Hi Tara,
Greetings !! Just came through Merisi's blog....! Beautiful illustration and quotes !!
This time gone through few , will surely come ....for inspirations...!
Loved the Squirrel so cute....just to tell you a short story( Mythological one) one of the God in his quest to find his soul mate found squirrel helping his force in building a huge dam...all the others laughed and squirrel was quite disheartened....hwever God picked the squirrel in his hand and "thank" him for the contribution and with his fingers marked the back...thats how we say squirrel got lined back !!
