Breaking news...

In an unprecedented turn-of-events over the last twelve months or so - after I FedEx off my latest cover, I will have nothing that I *have* to do today!! I have a week or so of non-work time before the next assignment!!!

I am feeling a bit at a loss - and overwhelmed with the possibilites. Should I attempt to make some headway on my much-neglected garden? Try to dig out my studio (and the house in general?) Go shopping? Stay in bed and read a book? Finish my vacation-blogging-travelogue? Plan my next trip? Think about actually cooking for my family tonight?

Oh, the possibilities are endless!

' am off to explore them!

Just enjoy the sheer luxury of being able to waste the day!

Been looking back at your architectural pics of the Italian cities - just glorious, especially the black and white details (and the spotty dof of course...)

Indulge in one big long lie in and read a book. Stay there until well after midday. Get up and lounge about in the garden in your leeeesure wear, weather permitting, maybe poking about with some pots and plants but nothing too strenuous. Then do the meal for family thing, and a bit of tv/film watching. Doctor's orders.

(that was just one day, of course you can up the activity as you recover from painting one thousand and one fairies)

I so know that feeling of being at a loss after putting all one's energy into a big project. But you know how it goes... the next assignment is already around the corner... so just do some carpe diem, in whatever way takes your fancy. Play, relax, breathe, create just for the sake of it, have tea with a friend... as you said, the possibilities are endless.

Go hide somewhere with a book first. :-)
(I have been trying to do this since the day before yesterday, having declared myself on vacation til Sunday *g*, but to no avail! So many pleasurable things to persue, I almost feel stress's creeping up on me.)
