Well besides the mere fact that it is held at the coolest inde book seller around. (What is better than a book store? And this particular one sells new AND used books side by side.)
Another evening treat - see my cool book inscription! On these beautiful end papers no less.
And just across the aisle from the bookstore proper is my favorite organic bakery -
-which is chock-full of treats! Now Paris Breakfasts may rhapsodise about the wonders of the macaron but I must say that a caramel filled, chocolate drizzled, coconut macarOON is a thing of delight. (My daughter only let me out of the house if I promised to bring back HoneyBear cookies)...All in all, it was a lovely, yummy, treat-filled night.

Delightful post, delicious too. I want to make a ginger bread house.
ugh! I'm so stuffed with christmas cookies (that I was supposed to wrap and freeze) I can't look at another sweet! I miss living in a college town with independent booksellers. Come to think of it, we don't even have a bookstore- unless you count the Bible store...
no wonder I'm online all the time, what a boring place!
Even better! A book talk, with food, gingerbread houses no less! TRuly you are blessed with Fairy dust!
Wonderful stuff...the fabulous shops (wow, look at those sweet treats)and getting to meet fellow talents in the book world! I'm just a tiny bit green :)
What a fantasic huge gingerbread house !
