TreatsTreatsTreats...

If attending cool book events aren't fun enough on their own, I must say there are added perks in this case -

Well besides the mere fact that it is held at the coolest inde book seller around. (What is better than a book store? And this particular one sells new AND used books side by side.)

Another evening treat - see my cool book inscription! On these beautiful end papers no less.

And just across the aisle from the bookstore proper is my favorite organic bakery -

-which is chock-full of treats! Now Paris Breakfasts may rhapsodise about the wonders of the macaron but I must say that a caramel filled, chocolate drizzled, coconut macarOON is a thing of delight. (My daughter only let me out of the house if I promised to bring back HoneyBear cookies)...
All in all, it was a lovely, yummy, treat-filled night.

ugh! I'm so stuffed with christmas cookies (that I was supposed to wrap and freeze) I can't look at another sweet! I miss living in a college town with independent booksellers. Come to think of it, we don't even have a bookstore- unless you count the Bible store...
no wonder I'm online all the time, what a boring place!
