Gone, yet again -

We're leaving in the morning. My son is serving a 2 year mission for our church and we are taking him to the training center to say goodbye for the duration. :-( I'm very pleased for him and proud, but will miss him fiercely. I'll be back by next weekend for another book event (like last year's).

In the meantime, I shall leave you with this haunting and ethereal version of "Dream On" by Kelly Sweet.

Wow, that's probably the best version I have ever heard of this song. Who knew it could be so moving.

Beautiful song! Where did your son get his mission call to?

I can't imagine how awful it must be when children leave home, or go off on their own adventures. I have a few years yet before that's a problem for me, and my daughter is adamant that she's NEVER leaving home!

Best wishes to you, and a cyber (((HUG))).

Hope you'll be back soon...I know you're going to miss your son, but you must be so proud of him...how successful of you to rear a successful son!
