Sunday Sketching -

Trying to get back into the groove - all this 'real life' stuff (vs. the Art Nirvana of just over a week ago). Drawing in church. My next set of Wind Dancer book work which starts *now*. Trying to stay on top of school being out and the garden needing attention, etc., etc...

AND I've been dismal at reading your blogs. All my feeds have been coming through Blog Lines which has apparently decided to no longer let me *go* to any of said blogs, and I haven't undertaken the mammoth task of transferring them all elsewhere. I'm sorry.

Plus, I want to get this year's set of 'next professional steps' down here in writing ASAP so that I can be working towards them while I'm still feeling the afterglow of the IMC....

Real Life. 'Have at thee!

Thanks girls.

It's just my tiny 3 1/2x 5 1/2 Moleskine sketchbook. Balanced precariously upon my knee...

Hi Tara Chang! It's Cheryl Parks. I hope this comment works-just wrote one up and sent it but it didn't show up on the list of comments-so here goes again.

I am flying up tomorrow morning, I'll be staying with Ilene. I would love to come and visit with you as I couldn't ever find you at home last Christmas. I'll be visiting until late afternoon of the following Tuesday.

I am now the reluctant owner of a cell phone (much kicking and screaming the last five years) and finding it isn't too bad. If you get this in time would you please call me so that I can come and see you if you aren't out of town? The number is 702-462-5252.

Oh, I loved the "Don't Make Me" piece-I would have volunteered to pose for that one-dangling bosoms and all!
Hopefully I'll hear from you soon!
Cheryl

I think they should hand out paper and pencils to everyone at church. All that sitting and daydreaming could be netted like the big catch at the Sea of Galilee. We used to give our three kids things to draw on (and with) when we went to church, and I often doodled as well. Hey, Tara, in response to your comment on my blog, check out Cory and Catska Ench's site. They are hard to classify, but mind blowing talent: http://www.enchgallery.com/

P.S., I know you saw their art in P.T., but wasn't sure if you had seen their site.
