I have tried to explain "Baby Jesus" to my toddler this year, pausing each time we walk by our neighbour's lit up creche to point out the baby Jesus and his mommy.
I realized I had a way to go when I took the cheese out of the fridge and he pointed at it and called it "Baby Cheeses".
Maybe Sunday school next year will sort this all out :)
Hello Tara: It has been some time since I popped by but I've been busy with chemo treatments so I tire easily and blogging is limited. I did want to stop by and wish you a very Merry Christmas! I wish you a Happy New year filled with Joy peace and prosperity..more books for you to illustrate! I will be reading your books to my 8 year old grandson and granddaughter while in Arizona this winter. They are old enough to appreciate the stories and sit through them. I think of you often ..love and light to you aNNa xo
Such a beautiful picture! Capturing the season in such a gorgeous way. I'm sure you are familiar with the work of Margaret Tarrent -omni-present ( in the best way) in my childhood. This reminds me a little of her work which is very lovely indeed.
Tara, received your most special card today! What a fortunate person I am to be able to call you a friend. A delight my dear, it was icing on the cake of a happy day!

LOL at Baby Cheeses! That's choice!
Happy Holidays, Tara... hoping you're having a lovely time.
Opulently I agree but I contemplate the post should secure more info then it has.
This is gorgeous!
