Christmas Day!

Christmas 'morn' dawned overcast and grey. We had a lovely breakfast (at nearly lunch-time).

 Had a relaxed present-opening time....
Naps, calls to extended family, and then *more* cooking.

Fancy Christmas night dinner - including the ginormous roast beast....

(Ed - the master carver...)

And a few family pics, since we're all together - thrown in for good measure! So nice having everyone around. Nice day.

Tentative Tuesday - WIP Christmas Dragons...

Finished drawing. Painted through most of the night (fueled by a Theo's Gingerbread Spice chocolate bar. Good stuff), but am still working on the finessing... Hope to be all finessed in the really really near future! Else, cards may be mailed around Easter again this year...

Thinking about snow....

I'm hearing such snowy reports from the east - just in time for Christmas week.

We're damp, grey and relatively balmy here. (My husband actually turned on the house fan for a brief time this afternoon).

Seattle and 'White Christmas' are not often companions....

Christmas Promo - Finish

There.
Now to spend one last session on finishing up the gazillions of puppy illustrations, and then it's on to book #10!

Christmas Promo - WIP

The other thing I am squeezing in with all the puppy-painting:

It is sadly dragon-free, but I ended up liking where it went.

Must have it painted by midweek for the agents.

Happy Holidays -

The snow continues to fall -

both in western Washington, and also in Utah where my daughter and I are visiting family for the holidays -

Every surface is 'frosted' and glazed. Like a cake.

Hope you are staying warm and enjoying your time with friends and family. Merry Christmas.
