I'm in the midst of sketches for book #11 (20 some interiors in the next coupla weeks...) This would be the state of my desk during the sketching and final drawing stage... Piles o' stuff... (Plus open computer windows with tweetdeck and facebook keeping me company through the long hours...)Oh the glamour, the glamour....

Well, I don't tweet (twit?) and Facebook acts like a laxative.
But I do sometimes have a desk that looks remarkably like yours!
Today, in the pool, my friend asked if I've been watching the tennis on TV. Ye gods! If I start watching tennis I'll never get this plate printed or these books stitched together!
I think desks come with virus' built in. They seem to constantly purge contents with in, leaving the mess for us to clean up! Happy Thursday.
ahhh.... among the chaos there is that comforting familiarity, yes? the smell of erasers and pencil shavings and the feel of paper under your finger tips. sketch on my friend. :]
Hi Tara, how goes the work today? We made it through another holiday season didn't we, fun, but ready to say goodbye to all of that and get back to the reality grind!:)))
It's so cold here today they closed the grade schools, so I've had three grandkids here since early this morning. They are a barrel of monkeys, a handful but too much fun. I hope at some point I'll be able to start giving your books to Addie, she's seven and I know she would love them! She loves fairies and Barbie and her horse(She and I do the whole Barbie thing together...too much fun!)

Good to see you so busy, just hope you get sometime for you time too! Hope Christmas was good and that 2010 is a good year all round.
