WIP Wednesday - Greensleeves

I've been chugging along on some personal work (here I am returning to my Greensleeves piece). As a side-note, I've also been trying to learn my various calibration tools - attempting to calibrate both my monitors as well as my scanner and printer... So far, I have not been very happy with the results (as in the above picture differs significantly from the actual painting...)  More to learn!

Let me be the first to say how damn nice this turned out :)

So awesome! I love the palette on this.

She is lovely, and her motivations suitably ambiguous. You should be pleased... even if calibration isn't going quite as smoothly as desired.

Thanks for the lovely reaction to her all.. It's been a long time since I did a non-monstery type of adult painting. :-)

ack! my comment didn't show! Friggin' firefox!

anyway, love her, love the pomegranate, the open door beyond....compelling piece that invites one not just to take a bite, but to look, and look, and look again - love that!

(calibration tools? sheesh! I can barely manage my browsers!)

Thanks Hayden. :-) She got more complex the more I sketched her. Just more story there I guess.
