WIP Wednesday - March Garden

Things are growing... And blooming... Here's a status report for early March -
Crocus, feverfew and scilla all emerging -

The goumi berries are leafing out -

And this is what the 'blossoms' of seaberries look like...

The daylily patch...

The violets are blooming fairly profusely.

The hardy winter greens that have overwintered (somewhat picked over by the chickens...)

The emerging rhubarb...

Blood sorrel...

Sweet Angelica (which will be 4 feet of greenery by June. 6-7 feet with the flowering umbels...)

Horehound...

French sorrel (which I have to protect from the chickens - they eat it to the ground!)

Honeysuckle...

And the girls in question in person - keeping the ground under the bird feeders clean.

Happy early spring!
