The Game...

(More pictures from the Flower and Garden show...)

The lovely Daisy Lupin sent me an email, titled "The Game is On". In the 'game' you email friends asking them to describe you in one word, and one word only. A fascinating exercise, and harder than one might think. I found the responses very interesting, touching, and in come cases an undeserved honor.

Some of the replies I received: Earth (twice), [Nature]-Deva, Fairy and Faery, Heart-Centered, Generous (twice), Connoisseur, Delicious, Chocolate, Incredible, Nimble, Creative, and Romantic...

My favorite response was "SuperCeltiChocoLicious"! :-) (from my very punny brother-in-law)...

(My other brother-in-law said he misunderstood the question and he really didn't mean anything negative by sending me an email saying "potato"... hmmmm...)

Thanks to all of you who 'played'!

I was so bummed to miss this event with my POBL friends, although after reading the "shopping" entry it may have been a good thing, garden goodies unfortunately are not on my budget this month, again bummer!

Ditto here. Thanks for sharing the pix, Tara. I went last year and it is impossible not to drop a wad of cash there, even for a meager apartment dweller such as myself!

Sorry I'm only replying now. It's crazy here at the moment with it being half term. I thought this game was relly hard. The first word that immediately popped into my head to describe you was surreal. But after thinking about it I decided on mystical.

Spiritual - it was your name which got me attracted to your blog.
Name of the Bodhisatva Goddess.

Just look at that wonderful tree house. Imagine having that at the bottom of your garden [mine isn't large enough] and stealing away on warm summer's day to loll around in there with a pile of books.

There are too many possible words I might use to describe you... but if I had to choose one tasty sesquipedalian, it would probably be "theobromaphile." Mmmm.

I loved the tree picture too much.

One word doesn't do you justice, "heart" was what came to my mind immediately when I saw this blog entry for the first time. And maybe heart can render and include a lot of things that would describe you best.
I like the other words also. ;-)
One of those days I shall go ahead and put a photo of our treehouse back home in the States on my blog (not for nothing called "for beginners", meaning also that I still have roots elsewhere, I guess).

Yes, the tree house look fantastic! What a great place for little pirats!

BTW, would you like to join me for a cup of coffee in the sun on my garden bench? Come along!
