Hieroglyphics -

Underneath the deck, the protected patio has a dusting of snow that has been blown across it.

Tracks of juncos and chickadees as well as some tiny rodent make intriguing patterns that almost look like they should be decipherable.

Perhaps frosty missives from the wintry denizens of nature.

I think I detect the "Fox Trot" by one of the chickadees. Such showboaters those birds.

At any rate, great eye to capture this, it would make a nice background for a greeting card maybe.

i have been fascinated by the tracks in the snow too! we have seen some squirrel tracks and also raccoon on our upper deck!
