Music Monday - and the Star Wars exhibit..

Today we ventured into Seattle to see the Star Wars exhibit, amongst other things at the science center.

To commemorate, I give you my all-time favorite musical snippet from the first Star Wars movie-

(And while there was very little that I liked about the latest three (other than the eye-popping visuals),  the music was worthy....)

Seattle Center in the ephemeral PNW sunshine....

Pacific Science Center arches....

Area-appropriate sculptures in the surrounding pools...

More sculpture-of-whale -
and more exhibit pics for you tomorrow!

Aha! You were at the Seattle Center today. Weren't the clouds lovely? Great yet freezing spring day. How was the exhibit?

I love that music too. Took the time to catch up on a few of your posts. Love the little drawing for the book. The color and texture reallly create a vibrant picture. I hope you are feeling well. My daughter is certainly getting sick of all the rain too. The kids are stuck inside most days. Hopefully, the sun will be peaking out for longer periods of time.

Rebecca - the exhibit did not rival the Harry Potter one, but there were some fun things. I really will post pictures this week. :-)

Thanks for the visit Sooz, Sandi, Vickie. More anon!

Ack! Hubby recognized the music from the first video clip right away without seeing it. He knew the scene too. I am married to a geek. :)

Love the whale tail sculpture. Bronze is so my favourite.
